Current state
After it has become a little quieter again and work has overrun me once again, we have an exciting pool season ahead of us. One or the other may have long since brought his pool out of hibernation and is already looking forward to the first jump into the cool water! In order for this to happen smoothly and for the water to be of excellent quality throughout the summer, a pool controller system makes sense in any case. At the current installation methods has still changed something, about which we would like to inform you in detail in this article now.
The current installation methods
Basically, there are currently three ways to install the Poolarino® pool controller to on the Raspberry Pi:
- The detailed installation instructions (installation time: 1 - 2 hours - accessible to everyone)
- The download of the raspberry pi ready full images (installation time: 5 - 10 minutes - accessible to registered users only)
- The new automated installation script (installation time: 5 - 10 minutes - accessible to registered users only)
As you can see there were adjustments to the installation method with the installation script. Since this is also a very simple method for installing the pool controller is now only available to registered members. The file was removed from the repository and added to the downloads of this page. But you can still download the file from the webserver, so you don't have to download and move it to your Raspberry Pi.
